I live in Halifax, UK. It’s not a sunny place. In fact, it’s one of the most miserable places to be at the moment. You’d have expected us to be having long barmy evenings, and some definite sunshine around this time of year. No chance. I’m sat here, at around 7am, and it’s pouring down. In fact, it probably hasn’t really stopped raining for two days straight.

However, I must admit that from time to time, I really like a spot of rain. It seems very refreshing, and I love the sound it makes on the roof of the house. Makes one feel very cosy. Problem is at this time of year is that not only is it raining, it’s also very, very warm - humid if you will. In my opinion, this isn’t a great combination really.

Anyway, fingers crossed it’ll ‘brighten up’ later on today!
