Well, as it was Christmas again just over three days ago, I decided to go for a monitor upgrade. I have been searching around for a while, and really liked the reflective displays offered by the likes of Sony (especially on their Sony Vaios). However, these type of monitors are generally very expensive, and way out of my price range.

When looking around The Computer Shop in Huddersfield a few weeks ago, I had spotted a gorgeous looking 19 inch TFT, with the exact qualities I was looking for. I asked the shop assistant (useless, as usual) how much it was, expecting to be disappointed, only to hear that it was on offer at £249!! I was amazed, and reserved one there and then. We went back that weekend to pick up the screen.

Viewing the Time website later today, I saw that the monitor actually retails at £499! - I don’t know why it was so cheap at the shop in Huddersfield, but I certainly bagged myself a bargain. And, it looks sleek.
