I’m currently in the process of writing a new system which will allow me to stylishly show off my portolio of photography (some parts better than others) online. I’ve looked at existing packages online, but none really do what I want. I just need a really simply system, which will allow me to upload a folder of new photos via FTP, add them to the system automatically and create nice looking thumbnails etc. I’ve more or less managed to do it, and I’m just fine tuning things now. Here are a couple of screenshots:

I’ll release it publically soon after I’ve finished it. I don’t know whether anyone will have any real call to use it, but you never know. I might also consider coding a WordPress plugin. I’ll have to see how much time I have on my hands.
