New iPod Photo and Mini

It looks like Apple have created a new model of the iPod photo, a 30gb model for only £249.
They have also introduced a new model of iPod Mini, in slightly four different colours and sizes. There are now 4gb (£139.00) and 6gb (£169.00) models available. All these new upgrades are shipping immediately, and will be posted to you within two days if you ordered one now.
It looks as though Think Secret’s earlier speculation wasn’t all that founded - The new Mini’s don’t have colour screens. Although they were correct with regard to a new standard iPod with a colour screen. Maybe time for an upgrade? - Not just yet I think, I’ll sort out the Mac Mini first.

If you have a look at ‘Apple Education’ and your a UK student/teacher/etc you can get a bit extra off all the iPod’s and Apple range

Indeed - I used the educational discount when I purchased my Mac Mini. So far, they haven’t checked up on me (if they do, I’m a student, so I’ve nothing to hide!), but it does seem that the system could be quite easily exploited.
