T-Mobile MDA Compact
It seems as though the mobile phone market is going through it’s general “up” spell at the moment, as I seem to be reading more and more articles about new releases at the moment. I thought that this one in particular was worth a mention however:

The T-Mobile MDA Compact is a new Windows powered phone, which has a huge array of features. It sports a card slot, bluetooth, Windows Smartphone software, video, camera, one of those gorgeous Pocket PC screens, and (most importantly) it’s mobile phone features. It looks like a worthy device.
However, I can’t help noticing that it looks a whole lot like an iPod. The white colouring on the front, the silver metal on the back, the sleek corners. It’s clear to see where the T-Mobile designers have gained their inspiration from. Anyway, I’d definitely count it’s looks as a positive, and if I was in the market for a smartphone (I’m most certainly not) - this is what I would be choosing.

Very pretty!! Funny, as I was reading the articles you linked to, I overheard a guy next to my cubicle talking to another guy about this exact model.
Why can’t they start putting hard drives in these things??

I agree, a nice big hard drive for all those MP3’s would be great. I don’t know why they don’t, but I suppose it would require an increase in size - probably to more of a iPod height and width.

iPod mini size would be fine with me…
