Have a Mint - ShortStat v2?
I am a huge fan of Shaun Inman’s ShortStat. I think that it is one of the easiest to use website statistics tool available. It’s incredibly easy to install, use and customise. The only problem with it is that because Shaun is so busy, updates are a rarely seen phenomenon.
My attention was drawn to Shaun’s new project due to his new redesign. It’s called Mint (or Have a Mint), and will appear shortly here. Many people are speculating that it will be a replacement to ShortStat - something much more complete (with a great interface by the look of things).
All we can do is sit back and wait - I’m sure we’ll see it all revealed eventually. In the meantime, there is some great speculation here about what is going on.

What do you need to run ShortStat?

No idea of when he’ll release this. Next few weeks?
To run shortstat, you just need a MySQL database and the ability to run PHP files. It is incredibly easy to set up.

I’d say within a month or so would be a good guess.
