James Blunt - Back to Bedlam

Not often does an album come around that I just can’t stop listening to. Most of the time I give an album two or three listens and decide that, sure it’s good, but it’s not that great. This one really blew my mind, and I’ve been very impressed with James Blunt’s voice, lyrics and songwriting capability. It reminds me slightly of David Gray - they have similar types of singing style.
As with all albums, some songs on Back To Bedlam are better than others. Particular favourites are “Wise Men”, “No Bravery” and “High”. Give it a demo listen on iTunes and see what you think. I’m sure you’ll be able to tell whether it is for you or not by listening to the samples available on there.
He’s also got an absolutely fantastic website. The first page is awful, but once you click on a link, it’s very impressive. Have a look.

Hi,
I have ripped the audio file from the live @ BBC show. I have the track “I Really Want You” taken out of the show. Not pure CD quality, but will suffice until he finally releases it!!
If you want me to mail it send me an email, and I will do my best to reply to as many as possible…………….tomorrow.

“I really want you” is to appear on his next album apparently (so i have reaad!), it’s certainly not a B-side on any CD he has released. We will all have to be patient, though its such a good song, it’ll be hard to wait for!

james blunt in my opinion is one of the singer/songwriters i’ve heard in a long time. his music great surpasses the contemporary top 40 shit they play on the radio. i vividly remember the first time listening to his song beautiful. it hooked me and brought me in. i looked into his album and found beuatiful was the tip of the iceburg. the entire album is amazing. you should support james blunt. his lyrics and composition is heart felt and real. he sings about real things for example “alright tonight”, we’ve all been in the same situation and i’ve had the same thoughts going thru my head as it took place.but anyways pick his album i’ve blogged long enough.
