Blueyonder Broadband
I got a letter from my broadband provider - Blueyonder (UK) - yesterday, stating that they are upgrading my 1mb Broadband line to 4mb for no additional fee. This is great news, and it just further secures my position with Telewest. They are a great broadband provider, and I plan to continue using them for years to come. I’ve had no real downtime since we opened an account with them a good 3 years ago, and I can’t recommend them enough.

That’s good news.
I’m on 2Mbps with Pipex at the moment and am poised to upgrade to a higher speed … if they ever announce any upgrades that is!

I think you’ll probably get upgraded again in the next few months. I’m with NTL and they are increasing their speeds to 10mb and Blueyonder always seem to have similar speeds if not faster.

lol, awesome. I’m on a ‘3mb’ connection, although I generally only get 1mb or so :’(. As far as I can tell, my broadband company shows no signs of upping the speed.

I had the 2mb connection with Blueyonder. I’m now moving up to 10mb. Like yourself, I’ve had no problems with them in the 4 or 5 years I’ve been with them. Nice.

way to go BlueYonder Broadband. They have my best vote for taking care of their customers…

Was a BT customer for a few years and service was dire. Capping, low speeds even though I was paying for high speed. Got fed up and joined Telewest…WoW what a difference.

I have a supposed 4mb connection; however at peak time (seems like all times) this drops to around 3x as fast as dial up - Poor to say the least.
I have called the helpline on several occaisions and now understand that the upgrade has been rolled out and now the servers cannot cope - I still have to pay£25 per month but no plans are in place to sort this and restore service - this effects the whole of perthshire not just me.
I think that they are falsely advertising the ability and seeling packages under false pretences.
