Free iPod Nano

Since Apple released the new iPod nano a few weeks ago, I’ve been on the verge of buying one. I was pretty envious of people in the USA who could sign up for one of those ‘Free iPod Nano’ referral schemes, and I didn’t think there was any similar service in the UK.
However, I found one of these schemes which is UK based a few days ago, and have signed myself up. All you have to do, is create an account, sign up for 5 free DVD rentals from ScreenSelect (you can cancel your account before they charge you) and refer seven friends to do the same (for a 4gb iPod nano), only 5 for a 2gb one.
The scheme looks pretty viable, and I can see how the company makes money from referral fees from Screen Select (or the other companies involved).

There is another scheme which is more established. I know of 3 people who have already recieved their iPods. I only need two more referrals. I have been advertsing on eBay for just 2 weeks and got 3 of my 5. Its cost me about £1.50 in ebay fees so far. Not bad considering a new 30Gb iPod Video is about £250!

I love Ipod Nano but I can’t have it.
