I’ve had a great Christmas, and hope you have too! But it has been plagued with the outlook of six relateively important exams in January - so I’ve been having to do my best to buckle down and get some work done towards those - particularly difficult around Christmas, the laziest holiday of the year.

2006 will be a big year. Lots of big projects on the go, the end of my time at Greenhead, starting University (still to decide where yet…), amongst other things. I’m thoroughly looking forward to it though, it’s going to be amazing.

Whilst I’m grateful for all the juicy scepticism I received whilst doing this, I’m also grateful for those of you who took part and actually completed an offer to get yourself a free iPod.

I’m pleased to say that my free iPod nano arrived at about half 8 this morning and it’s really quite cool! I never thought I’d get two iPod’s in a week, but I’m not complaining at all. I’m still not 100% sure whether I’m going to keep it, give it away or sell it - there are benefits to each.

I’m pleased to say that I passed my driving test, which means I can now drive legally in the UK on my own. Should be a whole new feedom as far as I’m concerned, and I’m really looking forward to not having to rely on other people. I’ll be driving a small blue Clio most of the time, a fantastic car. Taking a driving test is a fairly terrifying experience, but I’m thankful I didn’t do anything to mess it up.

This is definitely my favourite advert on TV at the moment, and I think the concept is really, really cool. It’s also lead me to the music of Jose Gonzales, which is incredibly simple and completely accoustic. I watched a behind the scenes making of the commercial today, and it’s really worth a couple of minutes of your time:
