I had the privilidge of going to see Zero 7 at Manchester Academy on Friday, and thought that they were absolutely fantastic. I’ve been a huge fan of Zero 7 since their first album, and their latest release called ‘The Garden’ has been a large success. It included several remixes of Jose Gonzales’ music as well as their own material. He was actually present at the gig, making it all the more amazing value for money!

The atmosphere was really good, with Academy packed to the rafters. They didn’t interact all that much with the crowd, but their performance was impressive. I have never seen a stage kitted out with as many keyboards, synthesisers and other electronic wizardry - their gear was very impressive.

I’d thoroughly recommend buying their album, and going to see them if you get a chance - they’re still touring for a while yet!
