I’ve had a great Christmas, and hope you have too! But it has been plagued with the outlook of six relateively important exams in January - so I’ve been having to do my best to buckle down and get some work done towards those - particularly difficult around Christmas, the laziest holiday of the year.

2006 will be a big year. Lots of big projects on the go, the end of my time at Greenhead, starting University (still to decide where yet…), amongst other things. I’m thoroughly looking forward to it though, it’s going to be amazing.

Hope the new year has some great things in store for you too!

I apologise explicitly to anyone reading this in France, but I am pretty pleased we won the Olympic bid. Hopefully, it will go to show exactly what we are capable of as a country, be that a good or bad thing. London has got more than enough time to prepare for the huge setup needed for such a large scale event, so fingers crossed, they’ll employ some decent builders.

Commiserations to Paris, but it’s about time we got our just deserves. The Olympic committee decided, and I agree, that we can pull this off much better than France ever could. Tony Blair’s going to have his work cut out to try to agree anything with Jack Chirac at the G8 summit. Good luck!
